  DeWalt Cordless 3/8" Ratchet Wrench | 18V XR | DCF513 Bare Unit

  
  This ratchet wrench from DeWalt operates from their standard 18 Volt XR Lithium-ion battery packs and is ideal for use with their lower profile batteries such as the 2.0Ah or even better - the 1.7Ah PowerStack. It has a three-eighths inch square drive anvil and can be used with ordinary hand sockets.
  
  This new range of ratchet wrenches (also available in 1/2" 18V, 1/4" & 3/8" 12V), is aimed at a large range of users, but especially those working in tight spaces such as engine bays or inside machinery, where a hand ratchet would normally be used. 
  
  The direction is reversed as you would on a hand ratchet, making the powertool intuitive to use. For varying the speed of the high performance brushless motor there is a pressure sensitive trigger. This allows you to slow down as the bolt or nut tightens up, reducing the likelihood of over-tightening.
