Get into Bosch Blue for a fantastic price with the GSB 18V-55 which is a powerful Combination Hammer Drill/Screwdriver. It features a brushless DC motor which, as the name implies, does not have brushes. This means that the motor has less internal friction and requires much less maintenance than a traditional brushed motor. Overall, this means that the brushless motor can provide a longer runtime while operating at a higher speed and greater torque levels.
The drill has an industry standard 1.5 - 13.0mm keyless chuck that allows you to use hex screwdriving bits, smooth shanked drill bits or hex shanked spade bits, as well as a variety of other accessories often used with combi drills, like wire wheels or hole saws. The drill has two speeds which allow you to pick between a higher speed or a higher torque setting. You can use this machine to drill into masonry up to a diameter of 13mm thanks to the hammer action built into the drill.
The combi drill is supplied with three 3.0 Amp-hour capacity Lithium-ion batteries which allows the already lightweight machine to remain easy to handle during operation.
