  Operating on Makita's 18V LXT system, the DHP485 from Makita is a high power combi drill capable of boring holes up to 38mm in wood and 13mm in steel and masonry.
  
  With two power settings for prioritising either torque or speed, and three modes, drilling, screwdriving and hammer action, this combi hammer drill is suitable for both professional and DIY building or fitting projects.
  
  It's 13mm keyless chuck allows both screwdriver and drill bits sized between 1.5mm - 13mm to easily slot into the DHP485 whilst it's brushless motor increases the durability of the machine and decreases the required maintenance.
  
  For added visibility of your workpiece this combi drill has an integrated LED light which is especially useful in low light spaces and has a soft-grip handle to ensure comfortability, even during periods of extended use.
  
  The kit comes with a charger and a case, as well as either a single 3.0 Amp-hour battery or a pair of them.
