    Makita 1/4" Hex 18V LXT Impact Driver | DTD155 Bare Unit


    Sold without batteries or charger for those who already have plenty of Makita's LXT 18V Li-ion batteries, this impact driver accepts 1/4" hex screwdriver bits. It can operate in either forward or reverse for fastening or removing fixings. For screwdriving applications an impact driver is night and day different to a combi drill or drill driver. Impact drivers use the momentum of an internal anvil to do all the work, reducing the requirement for you to counter the torque applied to the screw with your wrist. The trigger on the tool is pressure sensitive, which allows you to vary the speed of application. There is also a control panel that lets you select between two modes.
