  An update from the DCD796, the DCD799 features a more modern brushless motor, gearbox and electronics. The 799 combination hammer drill is ideal for both tradesmen and DIYers thanks to its versatility and fantastic value for money. The drill is incredibly compact for its power and only weighs 1.7kg which makes it very well balanced. There is an integrated spotlight which fires light at the work area for safety and convenience in low light conditions. The chuck on the DCD799 is a 13mm which allows you to drill up to 13mm in metal or masonry and 30mm in wood with the appropriate bit.
