DeWalt Premium 3-Speed Combi Drill | 2 x 5.0Ah 18V XR PowerStack Batteries
Launched in DeWalt's 100th year, the DCD1007 is the latest generation in combination hammer drill with a heavy duty 13mm keyless chuck up front, 3 speed metal gearbox in the middle, and brand new brushless DC motor in the rear. It is capable of delivering 180 Nm of torque thanks to this new motor and gearbox combination, giving you the ability to drill larger holes in various materials than previous generations.
The work light not only has three different brightness modes, but also has three different positions that it can point in. The work light also holds the Perform + Protect E-Clutch indicator. This lights up red when engaged, which happens when the E-Clutch engages to protect the user when a bind happens.
The head is a whole inch shorter than the DCD999 both front and back (in relation to the handle). This kit is supplied with a pair of the latest batteries from DeWalt, their 5.0 Ah version of the PowerStack platform. These are still 18V XR batteries meaning the drill and batteries are fully backwards and forwards compatible with all 18V XR batteries and machines. Everything is packaged in a T-Stak compatible kit box along with the charger.
