  This heavy duty machine allows you to use the large three-quarter inch square drive sockets with an impressive fastening torque of up to 1050 Newton-metres. The main highlight of this impact wrench is the mode selection which: Each press of it changes both the maximum impact rate and speed between 1800 ipm/900 rpm, 2000 ipm/1000 rpm and 2200 ipm/1800 rpm. A long press however, enables or disables the LED light. The nut busting torque of the DTW1001 is 1,700 Nm which is especially impressive for a cordless tool. This particular version is the body only which allows you to save money if you already have a suitable LXT 18 volt Makita battery and charger. This tool is great for workshops that don't or can't have an air supply, but even more ideal for mechanics on the go as this gives you shop power on the side of the road.
