  Makita High Torque 1/2" Impact Wrench | 40Vmax XGT | 2,200 Nm Breakaway | 1,700 Nm Fastening | TW002G

  
  A compact yet high torque impact wrench from Makita in their high power 40Vmax XGT battery platform. This can be bought without batteries and charger if you already have some, or you can opt to add a Power Source kit with various battery size options.
  
  The TW002G is powerful with a maximum fastening torque of 1,700 Nm, and a maximum breakaway or "nut-busting" torque of 2,200 Nm. In order to take best advantage of this, there is a 4 stage power mode system which can be set by the control panel on the foot.
  
  One of the features of the mode control is that in both forward and reverse it can stop impacting in order to prevent over-tightening fasteners, or losing them from them spinning off. Naturally there is variable speed control as standard via the pressure applied to the trigger.
  
  The wrench has a 1/2" anvil with a C-ring, also known as a hog ring. For ergonomics, much of the tool has rubberised overmoulings, improving grip too. There are two strong LED lights to shine light onto the work area, which is especially important on poorly lit work sites, or if you're lying on your back under a truck removing the driveline.
