  Based on an air sander in design and ergonomics, the DCW230 is an excellent form-factor that more and more tradesmen are moving over to. This has been made possible with DeWalt's latest innovation in brushless motor technology, giving an ultra slim motor without compromising on power.
  
  Despite its compact size, this sander is actually the fastest RO sander at removing material in its class. This is also thanks to the 5mm orbit size as well as the larger 150mm pad. This sander works especially well with the mesh-style sanding sheets thanks to the additional dust extraction holes in the base.
  
  The speed of this sander is variable thanks to a control dial with a range from 6,000 to 10,000 opm. To keep the work area tidy, you can either use the included dust bag, or connect it via the AirLock port to a dust extractor - which it can even automatically start and stop thanks to the inclusion of Wireless Tool Control.
