  The PT310-HB from Record Power is a woodworking workshop planer and thicknesser designed for both professionals and serious DIY enthusiasts. This heavy duty machine transforms rough, uneven timber into smooth, perfectly sized boards that can be used for furniture and the like thanks to its helical cutter block, which outperforms traditional 3 knife blade designs.
  
  This workshop planer thicknesser operates quietly, producing more of a gentle buzz noise rather than a harsh blender sound when compared to the PT310. The TCT teeth in the helical cutter block last longer than traditional blades, reducing maintenance costs. They also produce much smaller wood chips which improves dust extraction efficiency, keeping your workshop cleaner and safer.
  
  Built for precision and versatility, this planer-thicknesser has a 45° tilting fence for angled cuts, digital readout, durable cast iron tables, a swing-away table for supporting large boards and rubber out-feed rollers to keep material stable.
  
  Its jockey bar wheel kit makes moving the machine around the workshop effortless and the parallel table lift design lets you lift the entire assembly by loosing the cam action table locks for quickly changing between planing and thicknessing.
  
  The top planer has a cutting width of 12 inch or 310mm and a depth of cut of 3mm to ensure fast and smooth material removal. The thicknesser can handle boards up to 230mm thick at a feed rate of 7 metres per minute and also having a 3mm depth of cut, making it ideal for processing large or thick timber quickly and accurately.
