    Makita 23 Gauge Pin Nailer | 18V LXT Cordless | DPT353 Bare Unit


    This ultra compact battery powered nailer from Makita fires 23 gauge headless pins. It can be used with both softwood and hardwood and is ideal for detail work on cabinetry and the likes. The nails (or pins) used with this nailer (or pinner) are 23 gauge, which are just 0.64mm in diameter, and are headless. This loses a bit of holding power when compared to brad nails, but more than makes up for it in finish quality where the nail is very hard to see, especially in darker finishes of wood. The thinner gauge of pin also reduces the chances of damaging wood that is more prone to splitting due to either its genus or small size.
