  Makita 40Vmax XGT Cordless Brushless Earth Auger | with 2x 2.5Ah Batteries

  
  The DG001G shares many of the same components and design as the DA001G joist drill, but includes the addition of a leg/waist brace and extended handle. It allows you to drill holes in the ground for posts and foundation supports, as well as ground surveys. This is the 40Vmax XGT version which only requires one battery, but also available is the DDG460 which operates on two 18V LXT batteries. This XGT version is the full kit meaning it comes with a pair of 2.5 Amp-hour batteries and a mains charger. If you're drilling a load of holes, this will allow you to charge one battery while using the other, swapping between. Normally the kit comes without the auger bit, but you can select to add one on this page if needed. The bit is 200mm in diameter and measures 800mm in length with a working length of 550mm. If you need more length, you can also add a 540mm extension piece.
