  Makita Twin-18V 36V Earth Auger | DDG460

  
  Another impressive machine in the line of 36 Volt power tools that take advantage of your existing stock of Makita 18 Volt LXT Lithium-ion batteries to deliver 36V to the high-torque motor. The DDG460 is capable of up to 136 Nm of torque, but protects the user from injury and the machine from damage with the slipper-clutch. It is capable of maintaining rotation by constantly monitoring the load on the tool and increasing power to the motor when required. The auger is able to drill up to 150mm diameter holes in high resistance soil, or even up to 200mm in lower resistance, such as sandy soil.
