  Makita Twin-18V Earth Auger Kit | with 2 x 5.0Ah Batteries

  
  This machine uses the same technology as cordless right angle joist drills but features a wide secondary handle plus support bar which is often braced against the user's hip/thigh/leg to counteract the huge torque induced during drilling with the auger attachments. This machine is capable of drilling a standard 8 inch (or 200mm) diameter hole in a range of soil types including clay and light stone.
  
  This is the kitted version of the DDG460 and is supplied with a pair of 5.0 Amp-hour Lithium-ion LXT batteries and a twin-port mains charger. The auger uses both batteries simultaneously in order to deliver 36 Volts total to the brushless DC motor, allowing for incredible torque without sacrificing runtime.
  
  The kit doesn't come with auger attachments, but you can select from the list to include either the 200mm auger bit to be added to your order, or the auger bit plus an extension piece too.
