  Makita 216mm Sliding Compound Mitre Saw | 65 x 305mm Capacity

  
  This mitre saw from Makita is compact yet capable, with a cutting capacity of 65mm by 305mm. It achieves this thanks to the twin slide rails, letting you pull the blade towards you before pushing down into the material and forward through it. The linear ball bearings supporting each of the slide rails not only accurately hold the whole motor and blade assembly, but also allow a smooth sliding action through the material.
  
  The saw comes with a dust bag, but works best with a dust extractor which connects to the same place the bag connects. The LS0816F is lightweight enough to make it easy to carry to and from the job site. It is available in a 110V or 230V version, depending on your use case.
  
  The high quality base allows a mitre cut of up to 47 degrees in either direction, and the head can bevel up to 47 degrees left and 2 degrees right.
  
  Also available are kits to include a leg stand, the WST05 rolling leg stand, WST06 short leg stand, or WST07 large leg stand.
