    Makita 1HP 500mm Hedgetrimmer | 22.2cc 2-Stroke Petrol Engine


    This hedge trimmer from Makita is powered by a high performance modern 2-stroke engine. The engine has a displacement of 22.2cc, and produces 680 Watts of power. This drives the blades with excellent torque allowing it to make quick work of branches up to a thickness of 8mm.

    The engine is mounted between the front and rear handles, but is attached via an isolated engine mount, allowing the vibration to be absorbed before being transmitted to your hands. The rear handle can be rotated 90 degrees either direction from centre, making it much easier to handle when consistently angled in one direction.
