  Makita 80Vmax (Twin 40Vmax) Cordless Cut Off Saw | 14" Blade | 5" Cut Depth | CE001G Bare Unit

  Please note, this saw is not supplied with batteries or charger. It requires two 40Vmax XGT batteries simultaneously.
  
  This incredibly powerful machine has been designed to rival petrol cutoff saws. It does this by combining two of the already powerful 40Vmax XGT Lithium-ion battery packs together in a series configuration, giving you up to 80 Volts of power to the brushless DC motor. You can attach the machine to a water supply such as a tap or a hand pump bottle to keep the blade lubricated and cool from both sides of the adjustable guard.
  
  As this is an electronic machine, it comes with those advantages too, including AFT, or Active Feedback Sensing Technology. This constantly monitors the speed of the motor and can detect when a kickback occurs. To minimise the effect of kickback it stops the motor and engages the electric brake.
  
  This saw takes a massive 355mm diameter blade with either a 1 inch bore, or 22.23mm with the included adaptor ring. With this large blade the machine is capable of cutting to a maximum depth of 127mm or 5 inches. It monitors the load on the blade and lights an indicator LED to warn of increased load. This allows you to reduce pressure on the machine to extend the runtime of your batteries.
  
  This version of the CE001G is supplied without batteries, charger or blade in order to keep the price lower for those who already own other XGT tools and their associated 40Vmax battery packs. This machine is an excellent alternative to petrol cutters thanks to there being no fumes, much lower noise levels and practically zero running costs.
