  Makita Cordless Sliding Compound Mitre Saw with 12" Blade | LS003G Bare Unit

  
  Designed with the professional in mind, and supplied without batteries or charger for those who already own other XGT power tools and their 40 Vmax battery packs. The LS003 has a rails forward design, allowing it to be placed much closer to a wall than a traditional rail design. Another advantage of this design of rails is that it is extremely rigid to allow for more accurate cutting. This saw takes a 12 inch or 305mm diameter saw blade (with a 30mm bore) and is capable of a maximum cutting width of 92mm by 382mm, or a maximum cutting height or 107mm by 363mm. This gives you amazing flexibility in what the saw can be used for, especially when combined with the bevel and mitre capacities. It can bevel up to 48 degrees of an angle in either direction, and can rotate to cut a mitre angle of up to 60 degrees in both directions.
