Makita Cordless Brushless 82mm Planer With AWS | 2 x 5.0Ah 18V Batteries
This powerful machine from Makita is capable of removing up to 3mm of material with each pass thanks to the ADT technology. ADT detects when the motor is under heavy load and slows the speed in order to increase torque. If ADT activates, it illuminates an indication light - this allows you to back off the pressure in order to maximise battery runtime. The depth adjustment dial has an accuracy of 0.1mm and is easy to use to allow you to get the perfect depth. The DKP181 is compatible with dust extraction systems to keep your work area clean. This kit is supplied with an AWS chip, which allows you to connect to compatible Makita vacuums which will then automatically start extraction when you start the planer.
