Draper 255mm Sliding Compound Mitre Saw | SMS255E
This corded mitre saw is lightweight and portable yet has excellent cutting capacities thanks to the combination of a 10 inch diameter blade and the sliding mechanism. It can cross-cut material up to 90mm by 315mm, 45° mitre cut material up to 90mm by 215mm, 45° bevel cut material up to 40mm by 315mm, and even do a 45° x 45° compound cut up to 40mm x 215mm.
When the blade and slide are locked into the stowed position, there is a conveniently placed carry handle that allows you to transport the machine to and from the job site with ease, with a net weight of 17kg. The SMS255E is supplied with a dust bag to catch the sawdust created during cuts, but it can also be used with compatible dust extraction systems for even more effective dust collection.
For accurate cuts, the saw includes a laser cutting guide which clearly marks where the blade will land, allowing you to line it up with your pencil marks. The saw is fitted with a 40 tooth tungsten carbide tipped saw blade that is 255mm in diameter with a bore of 30mm, letting you get to work right away.
