  With a loop handle and easy-to-use splitting shaft, this strimmer packs away to a very compact size considering the in-use length. It has all the advantages you would expect from a professional grade Makita power tool including AFT that can detect jams and automatically stop the machine. It also has the ability to reverse the rotation for a short period in order to clear any tanglement. During normal use, the ADT system constantly monitors the load on the motor and increases torque when necessary to keep it running at a constant speed. The speed is selected between three settings, high, medium & low; 6,000, 5,100 & 3,500 rpm respectively.
