This powerful machine uses two of Makita's extremely popular 18V LXT battery packs together in series which allows the brushless DC motor to run at 36 volts. This gives it higher torque than 18V trimmers which allows it to cut through grass like a hot knife through butter. The DUR369L is a professional grade garden tool with advantages over the equivalent petrol machine such as Makita's AFT or Active Feedback Sensing Technology that detects a sudden slowdown and shuts the machine off to protect the user, as well as the ability to reverse direction to get the head un-tangled.
