  Makita 40V Max Fast Charger | DC40RA

  
  A high performance charger with active cooling to allow the fastest possible charging speed. It can charge a 2.5Ah battery in only 28 minutes and a 4.0Ah battery is 45 minutes. Also available separately is the ADP10 LXT adaptor allowing you to use one unit to charge both XGT and LXT Li-ion batteries. The DC40RA has two cooling fans to keep to internal charging circuitry at a suitable temperature - This means the unit doesn't need any cooldown period when charging multiple batteries in a row. When a battery is fully charged, the unit makes a notification sound, allowing you to quickly move onto the next battery.
