  DeWalt Power Delivery Charging Kit | Charge Li-ion Batteries & Use them as Power Bank

  
  This charging kit from DeWalt brings battery charging right up to the latest generation. Type-C USB cables are capable of a fantastic high power throughput, precisely why they are often replacing the cords on many laptops, tablets, phones and VR headsets.
  
  This kit includes a wall adaptor capable of outputting 100 Watts at the PD (Power Delivery) standard. The PD standard allows voltages of 20V, which just so happens to be the charging voltage of a DeWalt 18 Volt XR Lithium-ion slide pack battery. So if you connect all three pieces of this kit together, plugged into the wall, and add your powertool battery, you can charge the battery at speeds exceeding that of the DCB115 or DCB1104 wall chargers.
  
  That isn't the end of the features however, as you can also reverse the charger, making this a worthy successor to the DCB090. There is a USB A port plus a USB C port on the accessory (DCB094). The Type A port is capable of outputting 2.4 Amps at 5 volts, but the Type C port is capable of outputting 3 Amps at voltages between 5-15V, or the full 5 Amps at 20 volts. This allows you to charge various devices from your collection of DeWalt XR batteries, including your phones, laptop, tablet and more.
  
  The DCB094 also lets you charge your XR batteries on the go, simply by plugging into a high output rated 12V socket in your car or van.
