  This extremely compact impact driver features a powerful brushless motor which is capable of delivering up to 170 Nm of fastening torque without breaking a sweat. Another advantage of the BL DC motor is the longer runtime it allows from each battery thanks to the inherent improvement in efficiency. The driver can be used to fasten bolts up to M16 or machine screws up to M8 size. This tool is sold without any batteries or charger as a cost-effective way for someone who already has Makita tools to expand their selection, especially if they already have a Makita twin pack of circular saw and combi drill for example. The compact design allows this to be used in tight spaces and this is further aided by the powerful LED work light that illuminates poorly lit areas further improving productivity. To allow full control over the screw or bolt, pressure on the trigger can be adjusted to speed up or slow down both the impact rate and the rotation rpm.
