  The new Dewalt Extreme 2, Double life metal drill bits, are suitable for the heavy duty drilling in a diverse range of materials from wood, plastic and metal in a variety of applications. Built and designed to provide maximum performance these drill bits perform 4 x faster and are 50% longer lasting than stadard HSS drill bits. They offer a cleaner more accurate drill, with no hole burring thanks to it's recessed wings and incorporates a specially designed tapered web design to prevent against breaking. Additionally the drill bits feature a non slip shank ensuring there is no slippgae within the chuck further improving the drilling accuracy. An intuitive metal tip design means that the drill bits start drilling instantly, reducing the possibility of bit walking. They are easy to identify with their permanent size markings above the shank and are finished in a ferrous gold oxide coat, that reduces friction produced when drilling and increases the durability.
