I am really pleased with this fire grate, I searched for ages to find one that was the right width but not too deep. My house was built in the early 60's, not sure if it's a fireplace type particular to that time. My previous grate had big gaps so I was forever losing coal down the sides but this one fits perfectly! It was delivered quickly too. Highly recommend.

I usually have to buy a new fire grate every couple of years or so. The classic guardette recently delivered came as quite a surprise because the quality is so good. I believe that this one will out perform the others that I have bought previously from local suppliers. I was kept well informed on delivery which was fast and efficient.
