Ray Grahams Limited was established in 1970 by our ‘Uncle Ray’ and was a small outlet selling paint, timber and hardware to the local Newtownards community. Now 50 years on Ray Grahams is still a family run independent business and one of the biggest in the UK & Ireland. It has grown to be a large Builders and DIY enthusiasts ‘megastore’ and is still located on the Donaghadee Road after several changes of premises increasing in size each time. Supplying building materials, tools and home improvement products to the North Down and Belfast areas and more recently expanding our
business across Ireland, the UK and Europe Ray Grahams has become the one stop shop and we really do sell everything including the kitchen sink.
Ray Grahams is still family run and independent which allows us to deliver the highest level of customer service and expertise throughout our staff, allowing us to answer any questions regarding products and problems with confidence. We pride ourselves on our ‘personal service’.
The store itself has been described as an ‘Aladdin’s cave of DIY’ due to the vast range of products we stock. With dedicated showrooms for hardware, ironmongery, fixings, tools, bathroom suites, Doors and door furniture, Stoves, power tools and accessories and much more we always try to stock what the customer will require. On the rare occasion we may not have what you are looking for we will always try to source it. Ray Grahams boasts a large timber warehouse with staff and machinery allowing us to cut and supply materials to spec and it is accompanied by a large yard which stocks building supplies. A large part of our local business is decking, decking components and fencing in various styles. With several delivery vehicles we are able to deliver larger goods to the surrounding Down and Antrim areas including Belfast, Bangor and the Ards peninsula.

award winning business claiming several titles for our commitment to our customers over the years. With several awards to our name we hope to add to our trophy cabinet over the next few years and further establish ourselves as the one of the best DIY and builders suppliers the UK has to offer.
The most recent addition to our business is the Ray Grahams online store which is rapidly growing in size with new stock, blogs and videos being continuously added. We aim to provide the same service online as we do in store and have a dedicated team to deal with our online customers as if they were in our store. Our online store provides tools, hardware, plumbing, electrical and much more to our customers in Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and across Europe while still providing the personal service we have always prided ourselves on.
Ray Grahams strive to provide our customers with the highest levels of personal service. We aim to have good stocks and a large range to cater for everyone in every scenario. The boss always says ‘stock all the colours, in all the sizes, all of the time’. Without the customers there would not be a shop and that is why we are here to help, advise and recommend anytime the customer needs us.
