The Makita DLX2539ST 18V LXT twin pack combines the DHP490 brushless combi drill and DTD157 brushless impact driver for drilling, screwdriving and fastening applications. Designed for DIYers and professional electricians, plumbers, joiners, installers and construction workers, this cordless kit provides two complementary tools for everyday site and workshop tasks.
The DHP490 combi drill delivers up to 65Nm of maximum torque, with a two-speed gearbox, 20 torque settings and hammer drilling capability. It offers drilling capacities of up to 38mm in wood and 13mm in steel and masonry, making it suitable for a range of installation and construction work.
The DTD157 impact driver delivers up to 140Nm of maximum fastening torque and features three operating modes, including assist mode for controlled screwdriving and fastening. Its 1/4-inch hex drive accepts compatible impact-rated screwdriver bits, while the variable-speed control helps adapt performance to the application.
Both tools use Makita's 18V LXT lithium-ion battery platform and feature brushless motors which reduces maintenance requirements. The kit includes two 5.0Ah batteries, a charger and a carry case for convenient transport and storage.
