The Metabo KGS 18 LTX BL 216 Cordless Mitre Saw is designed for accurate crosscutting and mitre cutting during carpentry, joinery and installation work. Its sliding function makes it suitable for joiners, kitchen fitters, flooring installers, builders and shopfitters who need to cut wider timber sections, trim boards and prepare components for fitting on site or in the workshop.
Powered by an 18V brushless motor, the saw has a no-load speed of 5,000 rpm and uses a 216 mm saw blade with a 30 mm bore. It offers a maximum cutting capacity of 305 x 70 mm at 90° and 215 x 40 mm at 45°. The turntable swivels up to 50° left and right, while the saw blade tilts from -2° left to 47° right for bevel cuts, including undercuts. With a weight of 12.8 kg without the battery, it is designed for portable use between work areas.
Metabo's Precision Cut Line (PCL) uses an LED to project a clear shadow cutting line without requiring adjustment. The turntable has stop points for frequently used mitre angles, while the quick-action clamp secures workpieces from above or the front. Integrated table extensions support longer materials, and the depth guide allows grooves to be cut. Electronic soft start and overload protection help protect the motor and drive, while the integrated dust scoop supports effective dust extraction.
As part of CAS (Cordless Alliance System), this 18V mitre saw is compatible with all 18V Metabo batteries and other CAS partner batteries to provide cordless flexibility for professional cutting work.
