  The Metabo FMV 18 LTX BL 8 is a compact, lightweight cordless trim router designed for single-handed profile cutting, timber edge trimming, and groove flush-cutting. Site joiners and cabinet makers gain full mobility without sacrificing speed or precision during second-fix installations.
  
  A high-efficiency brushless motor powers this palm router to no-load speeds between 4,800 and 29,000 rpm. Vario Tacho Constamatic (VTC) full-wave electronics maintain constant cutter speed under heavy load, while the 40mm maximum stroke height and 1/4" collet support precise timber machining.
  
  The body weighs 1.0kg without the battery pack and features stepless rack-and-pinion depth adjustment for exact height settings. A transparent baseplate offers a clear view of the workpiece, while built-in restart protection and overload protection safeguard the motor across the 18V CAS battery platform.
  
  Metabo supplies this bare unit inside a metaBOX 145 carry case alongside a parallel guide, roller guide, template follower, suction adapter, and open-jawed spanner. This combination supports edge profiling, laminate trimming, template routing, and grooving on site or in the workshop.
