    Makita Cordless 18V Brushless 1/4" Router/Laminate Trimmer | DRT52 Bare Unit


    This cordless router from Makita is a lighter alternative to the popular DRT50, and is priced lower making it ideal for use by DIYers as well as professional trade users. It is supplied with a standard 1/4" collet but will also accept the slightly smaller 6.0mm collet if preferred. The DRT52 comes with a clear plastic compact trimmer base that is easily height adjustable with a thumb dial and locking thumb screw. The router works with any Makita 18V LXT battery pack, and is supplied without a battery or charger making it ideal for those who already own at least one other Makita LXT power tool. Without a load, the brushless DC motor runs the bit at 30,000 rpm.

    • Compatible with all Makita LXT 18V batteries.
    • Clear height adjustable square trimmer base.
    • Comes with a 1/4" collet, also fits 6.0mm.
    • Much lower price than the metal body DRT50.
    • Two stage (lock) start sequence for safety.
    • No load speed of 30,000 rpm.
