  Makita Cordless 72.8 Joule Demo Hammer | HM004G Bare Unit

  
  This modern take on the powerful demolition breaker has a focus on user safety while still giving you excellent performance at 72.8 Joules of impact energy. The 72.8J energy makes it similar in power to a mains powered 2000W machine. The handles, outer body and batteries are decoupled from the impact mechanism and float on strong springs. The actual reciprocating piston has a counter weight in order to further reduce wasted vibrations. The bit holder is a 1⅛" (28.6mm) hex, and it is driven by an air piston for smooth linear semi-compliant operation. This machine is sold without batteries or charger unless otherwise selected, and requires two 40Vmax XGT battery packs inserted at the same time to operate. The two batteries are combined together in series for a maximum operating voltage at the brushless motor of 80V.
