This kit features two 4.0 Amp-hour Lithium-ion battery packs that work with any Makita 40Vmax XGT power tool or garden tool. These are the newer tabless versions of the 4.0Ah battery, allowing higher output for more demanding applications. The charger included is the DC40RA which is a rapid charger capable of fully charging a 4.0Ah battery in only 45 minutes. Everything in the kit fits into the supplied Type 1 MakPac Connector Case, which you can either continue to use for the batteries and charger, or if those fit in a case you may have for your power tools, you can use this case for power tool accessories or hand tools.
