The FOPH-RA is a reciprocator attachment for the Milwaukee FOPH-0 Power Head that is an excellent alternative to a string trimmer.
The reciprocator attachment offers more control over a string trimmer as it rotates at a slower pace so you can clearly see the edge of the blade. This means you can cut grass right to the edge of a tree for example without making contact with it and potentially damaging it.
The slower rotation also greatly reduces the speed of cut debris so it is safer to use in more confined spaces such as around vehicles and other objects that fast debris ejected from a string trimmer could potentially damage.
