This large lawnmower from Makita uses their highest output battery, the 64 Vmax. The large battery pack supplied with this kit has a capacity of 4.0 Amp-hours. It uses Lithium-ion chemistry, and weighs in at 2.2kg. To help with the weight is a built-in carry handle. To see what your battery level is at the push of a button, there is a four-LED state-of-charge indicator. The appropriate mains charger is also included in the kit.
The mower has a 534mm wide plastic deck, giving an excellent cutting width. It has a brushless DC motor that is capable of driving the large blade with fantastic torque. The LM002J is suitable for professional use and when not in use, the handles can fold down and be stored in any orientation. The height of the deck can be set in a range from 20mm up to 100mm using a single large control.
