  This next generation lawn mower from DeWalt uses just a single FlexVolt battery while still being more powerful than the previous twin-battery 2x18V models. This professional piece of equipment features a steel 530mm deck to give you a long life from the machine.
  
  There is a single point height adjustment control, meaning you don't need to faff with adjusting each wheel to the same height. There are 6 height settings with this control lever, ranging from as low as 25mm up to an impressive 102mm, great for tackling neglected lawns.
  
  When the job is done, there is a new folding mechanism that makes it as easy as pulling one lever to collapse the handle and fold the machine. To make organisation and storage easier in your van or shed, you can hang the DCMWSP550 upright, as there's no fuel to spill.
  
  On the topic of fuel, as the mower is battery operated, you don't have to deal with engine servicing and carrying around dangerous petrol. You also have a much quieter experience, great for use around residential homes, and further into the evening for those longer Summer jobs.
  
  DeWalt have announced that depending on the battery used, you can attain a runtime of up to 46 minutes per charge, suitable for lawns just under 1,000 square metres. Pair that with a suitable fast charger for your van and a few spare batteries, and it should be ideal for lawn mowing businesses.
  
  For both convenience and consistency, there is a variable speed control for the rear-wheel drive system. On the control panel, you can see at a glance the battery level remaining, the load on the cutting system, and the estimated blade life remaining.
