Makita 530mm Steel Deck Self-Propelled 40Vmax XGT Lawnmower with 2x 5.0Ah Batteries
This lawn mower from Makita's newer XGT range has a 40 Volt motor in order to give incredible grass cutting performance. The battery compartment can take two batteries, but only to allow a boost in capacity, as each of the included batteries outputs the required 40V voltage on its own. It is ideal for lawns up to 3400 square metres, and is comfortable to use for long periods of time.
To adjust the height of the cut you simply move a single lever and the whole unit lifts or falls. It has an extra large 50 litre collection box which means less trips to the compost pile/bin/van. Battery operated machines are much quieter than the equivalent petrol machines, and more convenient than corded electric mowers. This version of the kit is supplied with two 40Vmax batteries which each have a capacity of 5.0Ah. You can install both batteries at the one time for extra long runtime, or have one installed and the other charging if you need to cover a larger lawn.
