  Makita 18V 10cm Pruning Saw | DUC101 Bare Unit

  
  This compact one handed machine from Makita allows you to prune trees and hedges quickly and easily with the power of a chain over a 100mm long bar. The DUC101 pruning saw is easy to maintain thanks to a tool free oil reservoir cap, and tool free chain cover that lets you remove the chain and bar. The chainsaw is driven by a brushless DC motor that gives you excellent runtime from any 18 Volt Makita LXT Lithium-ion battery pack. This version of the saw is supplied without any batteries or charger as Makita are aware that many professional and DIY users already have plenty of these common batteries which are fully compatible. The saw has a guard over the top and side of the bar. This pivots out of the way as you cut through material. The chain on this tool moves at 8.0 metres per second, and has been specifically designed for use with battery operated machines to get excellent runtime without compromising cutting capability.
