  These 5 way connectors from Wago's 221 range are ideal for use in lighting circuits due to the sometimes high number of cables at light fixtures, especially when daisy chained. One 5-way Wago connector is capable of replacing three 3-way connectors, due to the jumper wires needed in the 3-way connectors. Wago 221 connectors are much safer than standard screw terminal blocks as they have a patented connection called a Cage Clamp. This can be used with cables from 0.14mm² up to 4mm² and suits solid or stranded conductors. To use, you simply swing the orange latch upwards, insert the cable (visible through the clear housing), and flip the latch down again.
