  Wago 3-Way Compact Lever Cable Connectors | Pack of 10/50 | 221-413

  
  Perfect for domestic, commercial or industrial wiring up to 4mm² solid core or stranded cable, this latest generation of 221 cable connectors replaces the older bulkier 222 connectors.
  
  They are certified all over the world to PS-E, JET, UL, and most importantly for use in the UK & Ireland, EN EC 05. The rating is for up to 450 Volts nominal Voltage and 32 Amps, but it is also certified for surges to a maximum of 4,000 kV.
  
  While these connectors are great for wiring socket and lighting circuits, they are also suitable for smaller diameter cables as small as 0.2mm² for solid core and regular stranded, or 0.14mm² for fine-stranded cable.
  
  The 221 connectors are so small that they can be easily placed in back boxes, even shallow ones. This makes them useful when making alterations to existing wiring in the back of light switches - something more and more common with smart lighting and smart switches.
  
  The Wago connectors are not only much easier to use than screw-terminal connector blocks, but they also allow you to clearly see that the wires are properly connected inside. These require 11mm of stripped wire, and have a guide as such on the side of the blocks.
