  DeWalt Drywall Spiral Cutout Tool | 18V XR | Brushless | DCE555 Bare Unit

  
  The perfect tool for cutting out sections of plasterboard, especially which has been already mounted. You can use this to cut out a hole for sockets, switches, ceiling roses, television points, ethernet plates and much more. This version of the tool is un-kitted, meaning it doesn't come with a battery, charger or kit box. This helps to keep the cost much lower for those who already own a plethora of other 18V XR DeWalt cordless power tools and their associated batteries. 
  
  The cut out tool uses a spiral bit that spins at 26,000 rpm thanks to the extreme performance brushless DC motor unit. The DCE555 has several quality-of-life improvements over the previous generation DCS551. One of these is the placement of the power switch, now moved forward to make it easier to intentionally press, and harder to engage accidentally. As a result of the power switch improvement, DeWalt has included a mounting screw for a belt clip (not included). The whole tool is slimmer now, making for a more ergonomic experience.
