  Bosch 18V & 230V PowerBox Jobsite Radio | Aux / Bluetooth / DAB+ / FM

  
  This class-leading site audio product from Bosch Professional features a strong roll cage. The radio body is actually suspended on rubber mounts inside the roll cage, reducing the chances of impacts transferring through to the radio. The roll cage itself has a combination of rubber and impact resistant plastic bumpers that further help to protect the radio.
  
  There are five speakers including the large 20 Watt subwoofer. Each of the smaller speakers are rated at 5 Watts and fire from each corner of the unit for a perfect site audio solution. There are several options available for audio sources; firstly is the FM radio with a frequency range from 87.5 to 108 MHz. Next is the DAB+ (Plus) digital radio tuner that is from 174.928 to 239.2 MHz. There are four presets that can be used to store FM or DAB stations for quick access, with the two included AA batteries used to save your settings and keep the time. The next audio source is aux via a 3.5mm jack and cable (included). However the lack of audio jack on more and more smartphones is saved by the final audio source: Bluetooth, for a quick and easy connection to your phone, tablet or laptop.
  
  In order to aid the usefulness of the site radio, it also doubles as a two socket extension lead. There are two power sockets for standard UK/IE plugs, which can deliver up to 12 Amps of power combined. These would be great for site lights or lowered rated power tools such as multi-tools, sanders, SDS+ drills and vacuums. There is a storage bay on one side of the unit that is 19cm deep and features a 2.1 Amp USB charging port as well as the aux port. (remember to take the cable into consideration).
  
  To power the unit, you can either use the built-in 230V mains AC power cable and 3 pin UK/IE plug, or alternatively you can use an 18 Volt Lithium-ion battery pack (not included)
