  DeWalt Compact USB-C Bluetooth Speaker | DCR009

  
  Featuring Bluetooth version 5.0, this speaker boasts a range of 30 metres between it and your phone. This uses a USB Type-C cable to charge the internal Lithium-ion battery, meaning you can charge it with your phone charger, or the expanding range of DeWalt XR products that feature USB ports, such as the DWST83470 TS2.0 Charger Box. The speaker in this unit is a 5 Watt mono unit, similar to many smart-speakers. However, this can be further improved by pairing two DCR009 speakers together. This will give you stereo sound and improve the general sound level too. As the battery is built-in to the DCR009; a 3.7 Volt 1.4 Amp-hour Li-ion pouch cell; and doesn't have any bulky external battery pack mounting hardware, the unit is capable of being much smaller at just 76mm diameter and 95mm tall. The speaker is rated for ingress protection up to IP67, giving it the same rating as many of the latest smartphones, and even allowing submersion up to 1 metre. The battery charges fully from empty in just 2 hours, and gives you 16 hours of playback at half-volume.
