  Makita SDS MAX Demo Hammer | 8.1 Joule

  
  This heavy duty demolition hammer from Makita is available either as a 110v or 230v version to suit your desired use case. The HM0871C has their fantastic AVT technology built-in that helps to bring the vibration level down to only 8 m/sec² compared to 11 m/sec² without AVT. AVT or Anti-Vibration Technology allows you to use this for chiselling for over 3 hours, compared to only 1 hour 30 without. Another feature is the soft-no-load, that reduces motor (and oscillation) speed when there is no load, further reducing unwanted vibrations. There is a five speed selection dial that allows you to get just the right impact rate for the task at hand, from as low as 1,100 blows per minute up to a maximum of 2,650 on speed setting 5.
