Metabo Thickness Planer & Jointer | 230v
A two-in-one combination that allows you to "joint" boards to allow for perfect glue ups, or plane wood to a desired thickness. You can easily swap between surface planer and thickness planer without even needing to use tools. The unit is compact, standing on four sturdy legs when in use, but it also has wheels on two of the legs to allow you to "wheelbarrow" it about the workshop to free space. For safety, the excellent induction-type motor won't restart by itself when power is restored after a power-cut. The HC260C can remove up to 3mm of material in a single pass, and the thickness planer supports material height of a minimum of 3mm and a maximum of 160mm.
