This impact wrench is part of the Makita LXT range of heavy duty trade ready power tools and is sold without batteries or charger to allow lower pricing for those many users who already have potentially dozens of LXT Li-ion batteries for their range of Makita tools. It has an impressive 580 Nm of nut busting torque, fantastic for a cordless tool, and takes 1/2" square drive sockets. This impact wrench has an intelligent drive system that is capable of automatically stopping the rotation when required. The anvil is driven by a high performance brushless DC motor with a 4 stage power selection switch that allows various different applications.
