  Record 61065 Geared Scroll Chuck Package | SC3

  
  This beautiful piece of engineering is the SC3 Geared Scroll Chuck which has been precision made to allow accurate work on small pieces. This chuck would be perfect for the Record Power DML250 or DML305 lathes thanks to its compact size. The SC3 gives the same performance and capabilities as the more expensive SC4 while being more compact and better suited to small or medium sized lathes. This kit includes standard 50mm jaws but these can also be swapped out for Robert Sorby or Nova branded jaws. To allow a more compact design, the key in the SC3 includes the pinion, but still allows very easy adjustment. The kit also has a deep wood screw which is perfect for starting off bowls. The screw actually fits in the chuck jaws which removes the need to take the whole system off. This kit has superior quality construction due to the materials used such as high tensile steel with copper and nickel reinforcements.
