Colt All Purpose Round Chimney Colt Top Cowl
Colt cowls have worked extensively to design and test the shape and durability of the Colt Top. It has been designed with the same principles as the original cowls but are far more efficient when it comes to wind direction because of its engineered round design. This improved design enhances the aerodynamics of the colt cowl to facilitate better extraction of smoke and fumes within the chimney flue.
The colt top has been rain tested in varying wind strengths to channel water away from the flue to protect your chimney from the ingress of rain, nesting birds (complete with bird guard) and unwanted debris. The colt top is suitable for use on all types of fires and wood, coal, solid fuel, gas, gas fuel effect and oil appliances - including natural and processed smokeless fuels.
