These products are about a cm thick and appear to be well made.
The coal saver slots in easily whereas other brands need to be screwed together.

First of all, the fire grate is perfect as it does the job. The only negative comment I would make is I bought the same item from Ray Graham about 18 months ago and the fire grate was split in 2 places after 5 months use. We only light the fire on winter weekends and so was disappointed that it lasted only one winter.
I can’t complain about anything else except to say that we have purchased another one from them hoping that this new one will last longer.

Fresh from waiting for a High St shop to ring back (they never did) we left them to stew in the past and went online.
A brisk, clear and helpful website, an email query regarding dimensions answered quickly and helpfully, a very reasonably priced product and so an immediate order. Rapid delivery with accurate arrival time estimate by email. And the well-made product is a perfect fit in our Victorian fireplace.
What more can one ask for?

Be aware that WWG16 is the FLAT bit only. If you want the bit that stands up at the front, you have to order the Fire Grate Guard WWG16G as well. Otherwise, good price, good service.
